And yes, I love me some CCR!

This week, I took the photo. Yes, I did. But the hubs tweaked it for me, because the iPhone camera needed some help so you could see what I saw when I went outside last week. I was totally caught by the sight of the round moon through the winter bare (finally!) tree branches.

I tried to get a bit artsy. Hubs says I didn’t do too badly.

What is it about night, the moon, and bare branches that sends a tingle of unease down your back? Makes you start humming Bad Moon on the Rise? Okay, now I need to go play some Creedence Clearwater.

Does the moon fascinate you? Do you rock to Creedence Clearwater Revival? Comments are entered into my monthly giveaway of a $10 AnaBanana gift card. Winners are announced first blog post of each month.

Perilously,

I LOVE these photos and any photo that involves trees and the moon. My favorite kind. Great work, Pauline. 🙂

Perhaps it dates back to when those little hominids still lived in the ‘tween places of savanna and forest. When the moon shone brightest, the trees were bare and they were caught out in the open, there was nowhere to hide from the predators.
Perhaps our racial memory goes back that far.
