First off, I wanted to thank everyone who stopped by the book launch, whether you left a comment or not! I had a great day and I appreciate you all celebrating with me!

I’ve got a contest going at Author Island, which I think is very fun! This purse charm (which can easily be converted into a necklace) is made of amber and garnet in a sterling silver setting. And yes, it is a big as it looks. I photographed it in my hand to give some sense of scale. It is suitably “nova” for the release of Girl Gone Nova. I have three “nova” purse charms — each unique — to give away in contests in the next three months.

If you follow the contest link above, you’ll also find my “bookmark with purchase” offer. My sister (who found the “nova” purse charms) has embellished some traditional (coated cardboard) bookmarks just for the release of Girl Gone Nova. Email me a purchase receipt for Girl Gone Nova, print or digital, and your snail mail address and I’ll send a bookmark (while supplies last!)

I’ve also got back list news. First, wanted to let readers know that B&N is NOT selling authorized editions of my back list. I have called and written, and am working with my previous publisher to get them down. The fact that it is proving so difficult causes me to worry that I won’t be properly reimbursed for any sales. I’d ask that you refrain from purchasing Pig in a Park, Do Wah Diddy Die, Out of Time, A Dangerous Dance, The Last Enemy, Byte Me, Missing You, Lonesome Lawmen or Lonesome Mama from them, in print or digital edition.

Which brings me to my “big” news. L&L Dreamspell will begin re-releasing my back list next month. There is a catch. Due to the amount of time my back list has been for sale, we’ve made an economic decision NOT to release the books in print. There is a “but” in that statement. L&L will do a limited print release. Once I have cover art and pricing information, I will be posting pre-order information on my website. Just be aware that, unless there is a substantial surge in print requests, this will be the only print release. Once they are gone, unless you find a used copy, they will be gone.

These new editions will be mostly the same, though I have re-edited them and added additional content to The Spy Who Kissed Me (Pig in a Park). Spy is the only book that will have added content. All the books will have new cover art and have the interior redesigned in L&L’s wonderful way.

I made this decision, in concert with my publisher, because the majority of my sales are digital. If you want to prove me wrong, overwhelm me with print orders. LOL!

I have been thrilled and touched by reader comments about Girl Gone Nova. Many thanks for letting me know you enjoyed the book!

Also in the “good news” column is the pending release of Ghostly Dreamspell Anthology. I have a Mickey and Luci short story in this anthology called Do Wah Diddy Dead. At this time, it is the last Mickey and Luci story.

The other Mickey and Luci short, Do Wah Diddy Die Already, can be found in Dead and Breakfast anthology. I’m looking forward to the re-release of Do Wah Diddy Die, spiffed up with a new cover and interior redesign, too.

Thanks again for all your support. Authors who don’t sell books, don’t get to publish their next book, so your support is important! Personally, it matters to me because a book isn’t “finished” until it gets read. It’s a cycle that starts in my imagination, but it is completed by readers.

And speaking of imaginations, mine is calling me to work! As we head into the weekend, I hope yours rocks! Thanks to all of you, I’ll be heading into mine with a smile on my face!
Perilously yours,
Pauline
