So, it’s the day after Christmas. I’m writing this post before the family arrives, so I can’t verify that I survived the wonderful chaos that is the #GrandmaProject. I will just say that I almost can’t sleep with excitement. For a Grandma, the grandkids arriving is the grownup (old) version of waiting for Santa. Haha

Don’t ask me why I picked this picture for this post, because I couldn’t tell you, other than I liked it. And maybe because he’s looking at me as if to ask, “Are you kidding me?”

Maybe he doesn’t have DARLING grandkids and wonderful children and their spouses incoming. Poor thing. He won’t have PAW Patrol and play dough and gingerbread houses and holiday movies and hugs. I’m so looking forward to the hugs.

So look for me after the new year (oh my heck, where did 2016 go????). For now, I’m having trouble thinking of anything but the family incoming.

So, did you survive Christmas? The month? The day? Are you as shocked as I am that 2016 is almost over.

I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value).  (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.

Perilously yours,

Pauline
