As soon as I saw this photo, I knew I had to share it. Even if I’m not actually face down, there are times when I feel face down. And yeah, would like to be dragged across the finish line. Thankfully there are some really great people in my life who send me virtual “lift” and even some “drag across a line,” because I’m not finished and won’t be for a long time.

I’m so thankful for the people in my life who provide that lift. Do you have friends and family like that? The ones who seem to sense when you’re going down for the count and send an email or call at the right time? Who show up with chocolate and hugs? Give them a shout-out and be entered into my monthly drawing for an awesome sauce AnaBanana gift basket. It also provides “lift” and you smell great, too. Winner is announced the first blog post of the new month.

Perilously yours,

Sometimes I feel like I’ve been dragged even when I didn’t know I was aiming at a finish line. And I know I’ve not done anything worthwhile without help from Someone.

I so know what you mean, Tommie! I get lifted that way a LOT, too. A whole lot. πŸ˜€

I have a lovely group of friends who know exactly what to do and say to lift me up–or drag me across the finish line.

Mathair is that rock for me. Just the other day I was having such a rough one and she came into our writing room, wine glasses in hand and said, “Let’s have a scary movie marathon.” A couple of hours later, we were laughing our butts off at Freddy Kreuger and my sour mood had completely vanished. They always say mom’s know best, and mine knows me like the back of her hand.

I think that is so cool that you write and work together and help each other so much. LOL about the horror movies, too! Funny how that helps. LOL

Victor, Idaho brings back a lot of memories. My mom grew up there. We spent many summers there at family reunions.

My husband has participated in LOTOJA – a bike race from Logan UT to Jackson Hole WY. I’m lucky to make it around the block most days.

I’ll give a shoutout to BestsellerBound. They’re a great group of writers who support and share. They are by far the friendliest community I’ve found online.
