photo of a forest

I think I’m on a nature kick this week, even for the wormhole. For some reason, this photo makes me think of a comment made—trying to think where I heard it, but I think it was on a Wonderful World of Disney episode about funny comments made during visits to national parks.
Apparently someone said, “How can I see the forest with all these trees in the way?”

So this forest solves that problem. There it is. A forest. And trees.

Have you ever said or heard something that made you blink and go, whaaaat? Have a little fun this Friday. Cuz it is Friday! And cuz.

Share your smile or LOL in the comments and you also get entered into my monthly drawing for an AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value). I announce the winner in the first blog post of the new month.

Your post and L. E. Carmichael’s comment certainly gave me LOLs. I don’t have one to share, I tried to think of one and just couldn’t. But I do have a nature thing that made me blink and go, whatt? Last week at a job I’m working, in the breakroom outside the wall size window on a wide ledge on the 8th floor, a buzzard stood next to the glass, looking at me. He was shaded by the 9th floor ledge, especially in that corner which is why I think he was there. He seemed to be chilling in the shade. I snapped photos of him and sent two to FB, one with his wings spread. He seemed to pose for the pictures. Then at the lunch room I showed the pics to a co worker and she took out her phone and showed me her bird picture which topped mine. At an office she worked at she snapped a photo of a hawk on the ledge with a pigeon in his claws and he was chowing down on him. Her office ledge bird picture was tons better than mine. Talk about down the wormhole the only place we’re glimpsing large bird wild life in on window ledges of skyscrapers while we’re at work.

Wow, that is a pretty amazing bird tale! We have a bunch of buzzards around our area, but I’ve never seen them having lunch, just contemplating lunch. O.O

A friend used to work in Jasper National Park and one day a tourist asked her where the barn was. “Barn?” she replied. “You know,” the woman said, “where they keep all the elk at night.”

Half the time, the hardest part of her job was keeping the LOLs inside!

Friday didn’t get here soon enough this week! 🙂

I love that photo! I would love to sit in that forest and just listen to the nature going on.
