There will be some SERIOUS holiday celebrating on the blog this year. I’m back in Wyoming for the first time in, oh, twenty years? And I’m feeling the “I’m home” love. In an ironic twist, the hubs photos are all from Texas, so yeah, there will be #irony here, too. Haha

I realize not everyone goes into the holiday season with their ho, ho, ho turned on, but I also hope that you can find your smile here, even if it’s only briefly.

So how is December treating you so far? Are you looking for a #wormhole out? Or diving into the holiday vortex?

I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value).  Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.

Perilously yours,

P.S. While it felt a bit odd to be getting my holiday on during August, when I wrote “Up on the House Top,” I do think that Genie and I captured the heart of the holidays in All I Got For Christmas. Grab it. Read it. Prove me wrong (or hopefully, right!) And if you have time, we’d love some reviews! Didn’t you know authors are needy? haha

For me, this is the year of the Star Wars Christmas. I bought star wars wrapping paper and gift bag from Hallmark and Krogers. I bought Star War Christmas cards for my son, his wife , granddaughter, and my niece and nephew. I see star wars stuff everywhere I go. I’ve even been eating Star Wars cereal. I bought my son a Darth Vader wearing a red Christmas sweater ornament. I bought myself a Skywalker Family Christmas T-shirt. So talk about the wormhole. I’m wrapped up in some weird Star Wars Christmas theme the whole country is going through. Even the dollar store has star was stuff, I bought a Yoda stocking and hat at dollar general for $5 yesterday just because I could-I’m giving it to my 35-year-old son. I don’t care how silly he thinks it is. Yesterday, I ate some Star Wars jelly beans. They were good.

You are rocking the wormhole for sure! I guess I need to get out of the house. I’ve been one-click shopping, so not seeing as much Star Wars.
