Long Dragon

It’s Wishing for a Wormhole Friday and I’m Dragon again. Yeah, I know. Lame. But I’m looking for an excuse to read. This week has been about the books. About reading. About revisiting well-loved books.

I’m also about finding new books to love. So I don’t mind too much when I’m dragon. It gives me a good excuse to read.

I know, I shouldn’t need an excuse. I’m an empty nestor, but I’m also a writer, so I feel like I should be writing a book, not reading one. Unless I’m dragon. (Grin)

So what will you be doing this weekend? Reading? Watching? Recovering?

Please share! All comments are entered into my monthly drawing for an AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value) which will fix the dragon. Really. Winner will be announced the first blog post of the new month. 🙂

“Jones’ writing style is unique: a strong dose of noir balanced with humor and witty dialogue. The plot moves at a fast pace as does the chemistry between Alex and Nell. The characters are well-developed and likeable, the relationship between Alex and his 12 siblings fun, and the New Orleans ambiance conveyed so realistically the reader will feel as if they have been plopped down right in the middle of the Big Easy.” Midwest Book Review

I’m dragon too. I plan to revise a novelette and if I get finished with that this weekend then I plan to also revise three short stores. All of which I plan to do om my laptop as I lie on the sofa and have Good Wife playing on the TV from the watchathon I’m having my own little Good Wife marathon. I didn’t think I’d like the show in then in season three I watched it and loved it so I’m catching up. Though it’s like music playing in the background as I write – when something sounds interesting I watch it.
