When you were a kid, did you wish that some things were true, even though you kind of knew they weren’t? I’m not talking about the Easter Bunny or Santa. I remember when I was little I be looking up at the sky and wishing that I could catch a cloud somewhere. In my mind, clouds were softer than cotton. And I think I hoped I could steer them. haha

I also wished there were people on the moon and that bubbles could lift up to catch the clouds. The only part of The Wizard of Oz that I really liked was Glinda and her floating bubble. LOL

Is there anything from your childhood that you really wish was true? Do you ever look up and wonder…?

I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value).  (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.

Perilously yours,

Pauline

When I was young we would camp out us girls and walk late at night to the bridge and would think we saw a flying saucer and wondered what it would be like to go out in to space

I’m very lucky I had a wonderful childhood. Having so many close relatives, specially on my mothers side. I was spoilt for playmates and fun. My sister is only 14 months younger than I and we were very close. We still a close family, although I’ve moved quite far away. So I can think of any thing at the moment that I’d wish for.
