I’m in the process of shifting my blog from live journal to blogger, so I went into live journal to save my blogs for the last few years. I noticed that I tend to always talk about taxes in April, so I won’t be doing that, other than mentioning that I won’t be talking taxes, which is sort of talking taxes, but trying not to. If you know what I mean.

I have plenty of other stuff to write about, thank goodness. Girl Gone Nova will release sometime before April ends, so mega-excited about that. I’ve been interviewed all over the blogosphere in anticipation of that great day (for me anyway!).

I’m here talking about things you didn’t know about it (and might wish you still don’t know about me.)

I’m here as part of the Broad Blog tour.

And I’m even here, also part of the Broad Blog Tour.

And I made an appearance here, also in the mutual admiration Broad Blog Tour.

I’ve also been posting interviews of other broads here and there and its been a lot of fun “meeting” other broads from Broad Universe.

I also had a chance to head to New Orleans and do some sister/daughter time AND have some amazing food. It did my heart good to see our former home/city looking better each time we visit. It shows how resilient people (and the places they love) can be. She has scars, but nothing can keep her down.

While in New Orleans, I did a blog talk radio interview with the gracious Barbara Hodges and that was a lot of fun, too.

As you know (because I tell you all the time) I haven’t done a lot of reading lately, because I’m supposed to writing. Well, I didn’t mean to change that, was just going to check out a book recommended by Linnea Sinclair (whose fabulous Rebels and Lovers I talked about earlier this month) recommended Jack Campbell’s Lost Fleet series. I only meant to read enough to decide if I wanted to buy the complete series. When I came up for air, I’d read all five books and pre-ordered number six! These were so outside my usual reading, but I really, really liked them.

The weather is so perfect here, I want to find a comfortable spot outside and just read, but the new book is calling me, too, which is a good thing for the book, bad for my TBR pile. I’ve been reading books about steam engines and steam generation for the new novel and wow. I’m once more glad I get to make up my science. (guilty grin here)

In television news, In Plain Sight started with a bang and Big Bang Theory looks to be ending with one. In movies, I ordered Dead Noon, a horror/western/comedy because I  know one of the writers and have been wanting to see it, but kept forgetting to get the name of the movie. Looking forward to seeing it. Also ordered Iron Man, which I have yet to see, in preparation for Iron Man II

I’ve also been fighting (and so far winning) the urge to buy an iPad. I have NO good reason to get one, other than it would match my iPhone. LOL! So we’ll see how I do by the next time I blog.

You know I’ll be back when Girl Gone Nova releases! You’ll probably hear the scream around the world! In the meantime, may the sun find you, may you have a great book to read and your favorite treat close at hand!
Perilously yours,
Pauline
