Sometimes we just gotta believe the wormhole can take us to a nice, peaceful place (that’s still on this Earth). After all the sound and fury of a busy week, yeah, peace looks pretty good.

Are you looking forward to quiet or fun this weekend? Is the weekend always work for you? You know those comments are entered into my monthly drawing for an AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value). I announce a winner the first blog post of the new month.

Perilously yours,

Pauline

P.S. My books aren’t terribly peaceful, but they can be cathartic, because you’re not the one being hosed. So curl up in the armchair and take a vicarious adventure with Girl Gone Nova (you can get first part FREE) :

The peaceful things for me to do on the weekend is (1) catch up on sleep. (2) And the other is to visit my son and granddaughter, that usually happens on Saturday or Sundays. Seeing them and being with them is peaceful for me.

Your weekend sounds perfect! So lucky to have both of them close enough to visit!

The thing about being retired is the weekend is just another couple of days. We live in a small town which almost shuts down come lunchtime Saturday. The shops are open, but for some reason they’re not so crowded. I like that bit.

I just shut myself down and hide out. Yeah, retired/empty nest changes the weekends, but I still feel a bit stand down-ish. 🙂
