Some Sherwood Forest Fairies
The hubs caught these fairies by lamplight. Can you feel the magic?

The hubs took the scenic route to Sherwood Forest and came back with a slew of fairy pictures. What, you ask? No Robin Hood or Sheriff? I honestly don’t know if they were there, because the hubs hasn’t gotten through all his pictures from the event yet, but sometimes we just need more fairies in our lives, right? And you’ll have to admit these are some quirky fairies, which are my favorite kind.

I will freely admit that Tinkerbell was my first experience with fairies, so I might have a few trust issues, but I totally “believed” so she could live. How about you? Do you believe? Like fairies? Like them by lamplight?

I’m a huge fan of Robin Hood stories, so I’d be disappointed to find fairies in Sherwood Forest. 🙂 Tinkerbell is probably my first exposure to fairies, too. I love her sassiness.

Yeah, Tink, she was a bit good, a bit evil. LOL Had to love her. Yeah, I was surprised when the hubs came home with fairy pictures from Sherwood Forest. It just feels wrong, doesn’t it. I need to post a link to his flickr page, because he posted another one today. it’s really fun. (wyojones is his flickr id if you don’t want to wait for me. LOL)

Hopefully I’m not double posting. I’m on my phone, so it’s hard to get comments to work sometimes. I love fairies and wanted to say the photo is fantastic!

You did not double post, so you’re good! And even if you did, I’d still like you. 🙂 I’m glad you liked the photo. Usually I post a link to the hubs page, but not sure I did! anyway, i think he did a great job with the fairies, too. I’m having a lot of fun sharing his photos with my blog visitors. I’m doing a release party at TRS tomorrow and I’m using three of his New Orleans photos. 🙂

Thinking of Jonesy and the fairies and smiling. Apparently the guys had a discussion about the subjects of his photos at the office. Did he tell you? I think the three fairies in Sleeping Beauty were my first fairies. But there must have been a TV show I don’t remember from childhood titled The Blue Fairy. The first time I wore a Halloween costume, I was “The Blue Fairy.” From the pic that has survived, it included wearing a tin foil crown. I was four and look like I’m a bit worried about the whole thing. I’ve never been a believer in fairies. Not even the tooth fairy!

I know, Jonesy and his fairies make me LOL. It’s one of those quirky things where people are unexpected. grin I know there is a fairy tale or something about that? I got a bunch of different colored fairy books for free for my kindle. need to go back and read them. LOL

I’m not sure I believed in the tooth fairy, but I liked the money. Back then a quarter went a long way. LOL
