Pauline Baird Jones, author, writer, romantic suspense author, science fiction romance author, steampunk, humor, action adventure

Ever since I heard of steampunk, I knew I’d write steampunk and for sure I’d be reading some. It’s a grand adventure, almost as much fun as diving through the wormhole into a steampunk adventure (and the plumbing doesn’t change when you read about it, which I’m always happy about). If you haven’t tried some, here is your chance at winning some steampunk books (including Steamrolled) and there’s a grand prize (because a trip through a steampunk wormhole requires a grand prize, don’t you think?):

$100 e-gift card (winner’s choice Amazon or B&N)
75$ e-gift certificate to Clockwork Couture
1 digital copy of Iron Guns, Blazing Hearts (winner’s choice PDF, ePub, or .mobi)

If you haven’t guessed, the party is in honor of the release of Iron Guns, Blazing Hearts by the amazing Heather Massey. So strap on your goggles, adjust your corset or gun belt and hop over to The Galaxy Express on Feb 4th for the tour!

Have you tried any steampunk yet? What about steampunk romance? Me, I love the romance and automatons, but your mileage could vary. Let me know what you think about the genre. and your comment will be entered into my monthly drawing for a $10 AnaBanana gift card. Winner is announced the first blog post of the new month, which just happens to be today! Congratulations to….

What fun! I’d love to take an airship ride. Steampunk is one of many subgenres I read. I think the first one I read was William F. Wu’s Hong on the Range. I must admit I haven’t read a lot of it (too many books in my TBR pile!) I don’t think any of what I’ve read has been classified romance but I will soon!

I’m with you! Would love a steamship ride! I’ve really enjoyed the steampunk books I’ve read, though like you, would like to read more. 🙂
