The Science Fiction Romance Brigade Showcase is today! What that means is thanks to this once-a-month event, you get some linked together, science fiction romance fun!

I thought I’d use the showcase to talk about my “new” release. Okay, my Project Enterprise is far from new, but me bringing the gang all together in ONE BIG HUGE BUNDLE, that is new.

You’ll find some differences with this release. For right now, this bundle is ONLY available at Kobo and iBooks. There’s a good reason for that.

Or rather, there is a good reason it’s NOT available at Amazon and won’t be unless and until Amazon changes their pricing policies. (If I were to sell this bundle on Amazon, Amazon would get most of the money from any sale. I’m pretty much over other people making more money off my books than I do. So I hope you’ll understand.)

Because I don’t DRM (digitally and futilely attempt to lock my books), you can buy the bundle at either Kobo or iBooks and then use a program like Calibre to change it into a format more friendly for your favorite reading device. Trust me, when I say it is super easy.

So I hope you’ll understand and support a decision that helps me keep writing. And I have fun news! I’m hoping to revisit my Project Enterprise world with new books! So send good thoughts and good vibes! Honestly, I’m a little nervous.

My thanks for being there for, not just here not the blog, but out there in the Big Reading World, too. 🙂

I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value).  (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.

And I had a d’oh moment when I realized I didn’t announce a gift basket winner on Monday! Oh my, so here’s the April winner!

Diane Burton!!

AnaBanana will be in touch with you on how to get your basket!

Perilously yours,

Showcasing the PE Gang!

I’d love to do better at Kobo myself so kudos to you for making headway there!

Congratulations, Pauline, and I hope the bundle brings you many new sales.

One of the things I personally like about bundles like your PE gang is that advances the impression that I’m coming out with new stuff, even though I’m not a fast writer.

Thanks, Ed! Yeah, it does help me feel like I’m doing something on the business side, when I’m writing on the creative side.

I have the all already, but a bundle is a marvelous idea! I cant wait for more in the series.

I am so on the Kobo + Calibre train, except for exclusive titles. Sigh. These days I need a very heavy rec before I’ll buy an Amazon exclusive title.

Yay AnaBanana! I liked the gift basket enough that I’m working on ordering my wedding favors from her!

Both Kobo and iBooks make me work twice as hard to reach readers, which is kind of sad, but I am persisting because I don’t like being all “in” one place. I’m so glad you feel the Kobo love. Their team is awesome for sure.

Yay! So glad you liked it and wow, wedding favors! So exciting! You will have to post pictures (because you have nothing better to do at YOUR OWN WEDDING, right? LOL) So excited for you!

I ‘must’ have a Kobo version of my books, as my daughter-in-law works for the company!

The actual wedding will be a little courthouse immediate family proceeding…but later, we’re going to have a bunch of different parties with friends to celebrate (so we can actually talk to everyone and have fun instead of being zombies). We’ll give little gift bags and tell people to trade soaps or lip butters or bath bombs if they want different scents. I thought you’d approve of that mayhem!

I like big bundles and I cannot lie…

This is great news and a fantastic way to refresh the series 😀 Great idea, PBJ!

I totally understand your decision. I’ve been trying to move my book buying/selling to Kobo anyway, although I’ll admit it’s frustrating when I can’t get a certain title on the platform I want. Reader/author conflict, lol!

Yeah, been trying to build my visibility at Kobo and I don’t like not posting a book somewhere. It bites that Amazon doesn’t make some exceptions for indie authors on pricing. They could let us choose by the size of a file, for instance. Oh well.

I have 1 1/2 books in the series left to read. Since they are print, it takes me a while. I have a love/hate relationship with printed books. I love to read them, but I hate to lug them around. Digital is so much easier, so the big bundle is a great idea.

Oh, and the prospect of more PE stories is an even greater idea!

    • May 6, 2016 at 8:09 am

I know what you mean about the love/hate! I love looking at print on my shelf, but when I sit down to read…yeah, I like nice and light. And I love that I can impulse read with an eReader. I’m glad you like the idea! I have one thing to finish and then I dive back into my PE universe. I’m excited and nervous!
