Time to quit wishing for the wormhole and dive through it! Get the weekend started! Got any fun plans? Cuz it’s the weekend, dude.

Tell me what’s going on, cuz comments are entered into my monthly drawing for an AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value). I announce a winner the first blog post of the new month. 🙂

I’m making jam and trying to get two boys packed to ship off to college tomorrow. And still working on paperwork for graduate school stuff. And writing blog posts for a new book release. Right now, I really wish I did have a wormhole to jump through. Guess I’ll have to settle for “Calgon, take me away!”

Wish I lived close, I’d sneak by and try the jam. Hope the college boys launch is successful! I always feel like a booster pack — exhausted when its all over, I plunge back to Earth. (grin)

The hubby and I are going to a movie. I know, that does not sound like a big deal. But the last time just the two of us went to a movie was before we got married. We did go see a movie with in-law family members last spring. The teenage son, chose the movie and it was so bad, I can’t even remember the name. I love him but he has terrible taste in movies.

Reserved seats, chairs that lean back and alcohol in the theatre were all things I had not yet experienced. See, I don’t go very often. I think the previous movie I saw in a theatre was Avatar.

Anyway, as we were watching the sneak previews, a particular one came up and we both looked at each other and said ‘That looks like a good one!’. Which is unusual as we don’t even watch the same TV shows.

But there it is. The Guardians of the Galaxy is now playing so we are going. Rain or shine! I’m pretty excited!

That sounds so fun, Riley! Let me know how you liked it. Interested in that one myself!

I recommend Guardians of the Galaxy! If you like sci-fi, Marvel Comics or trees, I think you will enjoy it!
