It shouldn’t be a newsflash that putting people into the pounding surf can result in pounding. I will admit that I’ve had a little fun this week, but hurricane preparation is a serious business. But I still think the whole naming process needs work.
What do you think? Are you ready for hurricanes or the zombie apocalypse? Do you harbor a secret longing to get knocked off your feet by a monster wave and end up as the featured video on YouTube? Pauline became fascinated with hurricanes when she and the hubs moved to Texas in 1980 and she found herself a) unprepared and b) facing a possible hurricane landfall. It didn’t happen. That time. Being an author, she used her experiences in a book. In Girl Gone Nova, Doc gets up close and personal with a big–though never named–hurricane.
