When I was little, as soon as the Thanksgiving feasts were over, we’d start scanning the skies for signs of Santa. I know, there was still a month to go and Santa had a lot of work to do, but he might need to pop out for something, right?

I didn’t know about wormholes back then, but now, I’d be looking for a wormhole to the North Pole, kinda like the Buck-ee Beaver seems to be doing?

Am I right? Looks that way to me! So, in between the shopping and the decorating and the meal planning, I hope you are finding some time for some reading. Otherwise it would be kind of a Blue Christmas…

Or you could OPEN some holiday cheer early with Open with Care or grab Pets in Space before it is gone forever…

So, what’s going on around your place? Preparations ramping up? Or are you hiding out with a book? (What? I wouldn’t…)

I love comments so much that I pick a favorite to receive my monthly AnaBanana gift basket ($25 value).  (And don’t forget that once a quarter I’ll be tossing in something fun from the Perilously Fun Shop!) Recipient is announced the first blog post of the new month.

And guess what? This is that blog post! November’s gift basket winner is….

Sheila Hoag!!

Perilously yours,

Pauline

I remember reminding my mom to leave the door open so Santa could get in (We didn’t have a chimney).

On my screen, the size of the photo squeezes the type to two letters per line. A thin line of copy runs the length of the photo.

We never had a chimney either. We pinned our stockings to the sofa with huge safety pins. I’m not sure anyone locked their doors when I was little. Yes, it was that long ago. haha

that is weird about the photo. I wonder what happened. 🙁
