I hear everyone is gunning for the groundhog, since winter roared back without mercy. Show him no mercy!

Are wishing for a wormhole to spring today? Or has it arrived where you are? I feel almost guilty enjoying spring in our yard when so many friends and family are getting their toes frosted! The hubs took this shot of an Asian ornamental pear tree. It’s hard not to feel the spirits lift at the sight of blooming flowers. And I thought it might make a nice change from all the mud racers of the past few weeks. O.O

You can see more of the hubs flower photos on his Flickr page here.

Between spring, the grand-babies and my new book, my head is spinning. I hope something wonderful is happening where you are right now, cause things are pretty great here. Please share, rejoice or even whine. 🙂

All comments are entered into my monthly drawing for $10 AnaBanana gift card. Winner is announced in the first blog post of the new month.

This morning we were able to walk outside with less wind than usual and saw the daffodils starting to come up. What a delight!

We’re enjoying the windows open for the first time this year–YAY!–after 12 inches of snow on Sunday. And congrats on the new grandbabies and book. How wonderful!

My mom (in WY) said it got clear up to 60 degrees today! Maybe spring will come after all. But I still say take out the groundhog. LOL

Nope, we’re still under a blanket of snow. But that means the maple sap is still running, yum!
